KAVA (National Audiovisual Archive) and The Finnish Academy of Fine
Arts present an afternoon seminar on Gilles Deleuze’s philosophy of
cinema and its relevance regarding contemporary theories of the image.
The seminar is held at KAVA’s Cinema Orion and includes a screening of
Samuel Beckett’s short film ”Film” (1965). Guest speakers represent
scholarship on Deleuze’s philosophy and contemporary art theory. The
seminar is held in English.
