Taidekeskus de Appel hakee osallistujia kuraattoriohjelmaansa Amsterdamissa. Kymmenen kuukautta kestävä koulutusohjelma on suunnattu uransa alkuvaiheessa oleville kuraattoreille ja käynnistyy elokuussa 2015. Haku ohjelmaan on avoinna 12.1.2015 saakka.
Taidekeskus de Appel on vuonna 1975 perustettu kansainvälinen nykytaiteen instituutio, jolla on merkittävä rooli Amsterdamin ja Alankomaiden taidekentällä. Vuonna 1994 käynnistyneen de Appel Curatorial Programme -kuraattoriohjelman tavoitteena on tarjota nuorille kuraattoreille tiivis paketti kokemuksia ja taitoja, jotka tukevat heidän asiantuntemustaan sekä kuratoriaalisen ajattelunsa kehittymistä. Kansainvälisesti arvostettu ja kentän ajankohtaisiin muutoksiin reagoiva ohjelma on vanhimpia alallaan.
Osallistujat ohjelmaan valitsee de Appelin arvostelulautakunta. Jos ohjelmaan valitaan hakija Suomesta, Suomen Benelux-instituutti tarjoaa osallistujalle tuen, joka kattaa ohjelman osallistumismaksun (7000 euroa) sekä sisältää kuukausittaisen 800 euron stipendin.
Yhteistyö on osa instituutin visuaalisten taiteiden ohjelmaa, jota toteutetaan Suomen kulttuurirahaston tuella.

Call for participants for the de Appel Curatorial Programme
De Appel arts centre is currently seeking participants for de Appel Curatorial Programme 2015–16. The ten-months course for emerging curators begins late August 2015. The call for participants is open until 12 January, 2015.
De Appel arts centre is an international institution for contemporary art, fulfilling a key role in the arts in Amsterdam and the Netherlands since 1975. Initiated in 1994, the Curatorial Programme of de Appel arts centre aims to offer young curators a condensed package of experiences and skills providing young curators with opportunities to develop their expertise and curatorial thinking. It is one of the oldest curatorial programmes, but continues to adjust its curriculum to new circumstances in the curatorial field.
The participants will be selected by an international jury. If a candidate from Finland is successful, the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux will provide remission from the tuition fees (7000 euros). The participant will also receive a monthly grant of 800 euros.
The collaboration between de Appel Curatorial Programme and the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux is part of the Institute’s Visual Arts Programme funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation.
